Melody Jane is a British-Finnish artist, currently based in Helsinki. Exhibiting since 2012, their mixed-media artwork is deeply biographical, representing both inner and outer worlds with a combination of illustrative symbolism and assembled or constructed materials that aid in the conveyance of the meaning and circumstances of the creation of the works.
Recurring themes in Melody-Jane’s work are those of migration, technology, repetitive psychological behaviours, connection and isolation.
